Want to win a ticket to Facebook Success Summit 2010?

Remember how I mentioned that I won two tickets to the Facebook Success Summit 2010 in yesterday’s post? If you’re lazy, here’s a breakdown of what is to be expected in The Web’s Largest Online Facebook Marketing Conference!

Lifted from their website, Facebook Success Summit 2010 is a live online conference designed to help you master Facebook marketing, empowering you to quickly connect with customers (and prospects) using the #1 social network in the world, Facebook. The industry’s leading Facebook pros will show you how. Join 22 experts, including Brian Solis (author, Engage!), Mari Smith (co-author, Facebook Marketing: An Hour a Day), Justin Smith (Inside Facebook), Jesse Stay (author, FBML Essentials), Paul Dunay (author, Facebook Marketing for Dummies); experts from Intel, Microsoft Xbox, Cisco, the Washington Redskins and SAP; Darren Rowse (Author, Problogger), Jay Baer (Co-author, The Now Revolution), and Michael Stelzner (Social Media Examiner)—just to mention a few! Event runs October 5th to October 26th (fully online).

Summit covers topic like:
  • The Case for Facebook and What Your Business Needs to Know
  • How To Create a Compelling Facebook Presence That Generates Profits
  • How to Build and Manage a Loyal Facebook Fan Base
  • Leveraging the Power of Facebook Advertising
  • How Big B2B Businesses Are Leveraging the Power of Facebook
  • How to Benefit from Facebook Open Graph and Social Plugins
  • Applying Method to the Madness: Picking the Right Facebook Strategy

and a whole lot more that I’m too lazy to copy over!

Blah blah blah.. You must be thinking, “why is Elisha telling you all this?”

This is because….. I’m giving out one of my tickets and yes, you can be the one to win it!

I say win simply because I have no idea who will be interested in it and if more than one person wants it, I will have trouble deciding who to give it to. Offering the ticket on this blog is also a way to thank you all for reading this space!

So here’s what you have to do to win a ticket to Facebook Success Summit 2010. Simply complete the following sentence and submit it in the comment box below:

I want this ticket because……..
If you think you need to explain yourself more, feel free to go beyond a sentence. ;)

It’s that easy! (Do remember to leave your name and email address in your comments so I can get in touch with you!)

I’ll pick the funniest, wittiest, most touching or the most deserving comment and that person gets to have my extra ticket! Honestly, you can tell that my selection criteria is so subjective it almost serves no purpose. :(

Nonetheless, start commenting!
(oh oh oh, I’ll close the ‘contest’ on the 3rd Oct, 11pm (Singapore time, GMT +8)) :D

I want this ticket because I'm interning in a startup in which the social media marketing is almost non-existent. Hence, I want to help boost its social media presence, and I think this conference would be a great place for me to learn where to take the first step, since I'm totally new to social media marketing.

I want this ticket because I would like to use the knowledge gained from event, as how Luke Skywalker would use the 'force', for the good of others around me and in the process make me a bit of a hero too ;)

  3. I want this ticket becouse my husband and I own an Inn in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, the Iris Inn. We would like to start a facebook page about things that happen at the Inn from the perspective of our border collie, Katie.

  4. Esther says:

I want this ticket because…..I want to learn more about it to use on my own business and to use this topic on my 20 years reunion with my Marketing colleagues this December in Mexico.

  5. Cary says:

    I want this ticket because…
I'm picking myself up from this crappy economy, dusting myself off and LEARNING something new!
I will surely find success due to all that I have learned through failure!

  6. I want this ticket because…
I am a complete flake who is helping other flakes learn how to get things done in spite of themselves. I would love to go to the Facebook Summit so I can reach and help more flakes.

I want this ticket because our church has recently expanded our reach and entered the world of social media. This is all so new to me (I'm the social media manager) and I'm soaking up every bit of information that I can to do my part. Our mission statement is "Teaching the Word, Doing the Work, Touching the World". Social Media helps us do just that and more! TODAY is my birthday, this would be the best gift! Happy Birthday to me, I'm a winner!

I want to win this ticket because I was hired by a real estate company as their "Director of Marketing". They expect me to already know everything there is to know, so they don't want to pay for this. I know enough to know that I don't know nearly enough!!! I can't afford to pay for the summit on my own dime yet. I know in my heart that keeping current in the world of social media will make a huge difference in my future! I hope I can pay it forward next year.

  9. I want to win this ticket because…being the self-proclaimed 'Official Posterboy for Adult ADHD', I not only can't pay attention but I can't even pay my rent. Therefore, I'm about to be homeless in 2 days and attending this summit will equip me with skills, connections, and additional tools that I would need to pursue my creative side in the marketing field that I currently dabble in. And… because I'm begging… please, please, please, please pick me!!!! {:-}

  10. I want this ticket because I just graduaated college and got a job at a new start-up company that focuses on social networking for the enterprise. Our technology is so incredibly unique, but we have yet to be able to market our product the way it really needs to be- and this is where I think learning how to utilize Facebook could really help us, and in turn help companies who are ready to adopt social networking.

I want this ticket because like you I have been trying to build my fan page without any success and really think this seminar / summit will help me do just that and more. The experience and wealth of knowledge I can obtain from this seminar is priceless and would really wish I did not have to beg for it in front of 100 million people LOL! but desperate times calls for desperate measures!!.

Should I not win, will you post what you learned from the summit here. Cheers!

  12. Cheryl says:

I would like this ticket because I'm currently unemployed and I'm trying to start a business working with local business owners, and I'm wanting to learn all I can about social media for my own business as well as my customer's businesses. Thanks for this opportunity to win. Good Luck everyone!

  13. I want this ticket because I just started a new position as the Director of Marketing for a flooring company which has determined social media to be my main focus in the future. Since I am the sole bread winner of a family of six I really could use the knowledge toshow how social media can increase business and relationships in the future. Currently my focus for using Facebook has been to help other locally owned small businesses promote their business through our postings. I feel if I help others and provide information and service to our fans the business will come in the future. Being able to show the company the power of Facebook to build brand awareness and loyalty would be a bonus. Thanks for your consideration. My philosophy is pay it forward and help other and the future will be bright.

  14. I want this ticket because I would give it to my ex parnter who really wants to better understand Social Media so she can have a change of career. She is such a worthy person and I know she would benefit enormously. Thank you Elisha.
